Hi.
I am new ti VS2005 and most of .NET, so.. i wonder.

What is the easiest way to create a expandable dynamic menu like this? (Datasets and all of that is in place..)
I am in the blanks, and dont know where to start off.. I guess i am blinded by my classic ASP background.

MainMenu1
-SubMenu1
-SubMenu2
-SubMenu3
MainMenu2
MainMenu3
MainMenu4

In asp.net 2.0 you can create a sitemap and then link the sitemap to make a asp:treeview

or just use a treeview with no sitemap

Hi skiltz, thats an opt.. but, i was hoping to make it just a tad more advanced than that.
Sorry for not making that clear enough!

What i really want is for admins to be able to edit the menu inline so that it fits the rest of the content management system..

The answer to this Q is to use repeaters or gridviews with binding between datasources.

A simple binding is with the select command of the inner datasource. (Place it inside the repeater)

SelectCommand='<%# Eval("ParentID", "SELECT * FROM TableWHERE ([ChildID] = {0})") %>'

So simple...
