Suggestions: Look & feel for webpage

What suggestions would you give to improve the look and feel of this webpage:

i'm NOT a designer hence why im asking.  I want to give it a more professional look and feel and improve the design / layout!

    Chances to find some of them useful to your client!

    Hi Ellandrd!

    The tabs on the right side that are placed vertically, I'm confused by them.  What's the purpose and why are they sideways?  Where does that take the person and how do they know where to go from there?
