Outlook 2003 POP Email Question

Used to do this all the time but forgot the finer points...  How to I setup a POP Email account in Outlook 2003 so that the account shows up in the folder list along with my Exchange based accounts?  Can this be done or am I looking at having to launch into a different Profile on startup?  Thanks.

Different profile at startup. But i'd love someone to prove me wrong.

1. Create a new additional .pst file for the account. (Most people create a subfolder of the inbox for this purpose.)
2. Add the new account.
3. Create a rule to move the mail from this account to the the specified folder.

meintsi: So where should new mail to the POP account be going now - in her Exchange based Inbox?  Right now the account only shows up in TOOLS/Email ACCOUNTS - View or Change...

Where do you want the email to be?

A subfolder of the exchange inbox or totally seperate from exchange?

The user has multiple Exchange accounts already visible in the Folder list and that's what she's used to so If I have to train her on multiple logins it would be doable but not great - not to take away from upu1007's comment (it's viable).  To answer your question, I'd like to have the account show up as a separate branch in the folder list (with it's own Inbox, etc) jut like the other accounts if possible.  I'm also under the impression that a .pst file would be involved but I forgot how to map the account to the .pst file...

to add a local .pst
FILE - DATA FILE MANAGEMENT - ADD

Add the POP mail via ...
TOOLS - EMAIL ACCOUNTS - ADD NEW EMAIL ACCOUNT

Create a rule to move all POP mail to the local .pst
from the Inbox ...
TOOLS - RULES AND ALERTS - Apply this rule after the message arrives through the specified account, move it to the specified folder.

One other note...
I have my POP account deliver directly into my exchange Inbox so I can take advantage of the default delivery locations added benefits.

So I know which mail belongs to which account, I simply have a customized view show all POP mail in the "silver-grey" color. (any different color would do)
