Exchange - emails

I am getting this error message, it indicates that the user has left but have been having a few bounces of this nature with people who have not left the firm. Any ideas on what to do. I have already checked the script and code in the mail marshal console and the suspect to check to see if recipeint or sender are in there to process message but not able to find anything that relaets. Looking for some insight into this query:

The following recipient(s) could not be reached:

      xyz@lalaalalala.com.au on 17/05/2006 8:40 a.m.
The e-mail account does not exist at the organization this message was sent to.  Check the e-mail address, or contact the recipient directly to find out the correct address.

The message means what it says.
The server that the message was delivered to, doesn't recognise the user.
Is this with incoming or outbound messages?

If outbound, there is very little you can do.
If inbound, ensure that all the servers listed as your MX records are valid. If any of them are not under your control (ISP for example), then check with them whether the server listed is still valid.
