Need to extract JPG from a get, render only a portion, PPC 6700 Windows CE

Disclaimer-This may be in the wrong area

I am detecting the little browser by examining the header variables and have it redirecting to a different site if it is Windows CE.   You can test with CE browser at 4butler.info    It should redirect you to a smaller page for CE.

Tough part:  I want to do a get to www.intelliast.com, grap the JPG for my state, grab the particular area of my state I am interested in (Texas, Very Large), blow it up to the pixel width of the CE machine, then render it.

Even better would be to capture the Loop, and filter just the pixel area I am interested in.  That is probably WAY too difficult.  So, for now, the static JPG will do fine.

An ideas?

This is for personal use only by my 76 year old Dad who is freaked out by Tornados.

Thanks!

In the past I have used a program called Extractor
(http://www.slunecnice.cz/product/Extractor/) to extract those .jpeg files
(the program itself can actually extract a large number of files from within
any file). In the trial version it is limited to only 30 pictures per file.
One workaround (besides buying the program) is to copy your first 30 slides
into a new PowerPoint file, save it, and then extract the 30 pictures from
that file

Personally, my favorite utility for scripted image manipulation is Image Magick.

http://www.imagemagick.org/

Free, open-source.  Can be used from the command line, and has interfaces for most major programming languages.  Handles tons of different image formats.
