I am using Access 2000.

Inside access im using the Switchboard manager an in the new items on switchboard manager there is no link to put in insert hyperlink.

I can only put in forms, tables, run macro.

There must be a way to create a macro to go to a hyperlink

Go into the form in design mode and select Insert/Hyperlink or press CTRL+K

I know how to insert a hyper link. I did this with a command button which i pasted over the top of a switchboard button, but when you click on the button on a submenu that does something else it goes to the hyperlink when it should take you back to the main menu.

Hello hmuser

I see, the same button is used for different things on the switchboard... For a macro, use

    Action: RunCode
    Function Name: =FollowHyperlink("http://www.experts-exchange.com/")

Cheers.
