Simulating the "Save target As" onClick event.

Hi Everybody,
I have a list of wave files listed on a webpage ( that is locally ). Got a link "Save" wich is in fact a href to the physical file. Now, I simply want to have the saveAs dialog box in order to save the wave file to another directory on my hard drive.

Found severals ways on the net but not exactly what am looking for yet. Came up with this solution: I really only need to simulate the action of "right click on the link -> click on the Save Target As" when in fact clicking on the link.

Is this possible ?

Thanks

I believe (If I'm not mistaken) the closest you can get to this is something like this:

<a href="#" onclick="javascript: document.execCommand('SaveAs','1',null);"><yoursourcetype="yourDir/your.Wav" border="0"></a>
