Helpdesk software

What do folks prefer for a helpdesk/change management software tool for a small/medium business?  We're looking at BMC Servicedesk Express and Kayako - we looked at Remedy AR system, Helpdesk and Change management but it's a little out of our price range.

Any thoughts?

We used Polar Professional.  Depends on what is out of range and what your needs are per person.  It's about $1500 for 10 concurrent users.  Worked pretty well.  We used it for some time until goign with an in house solution that had a custom reporting package.....
We have been using Track It since it was owned by Blue Ocean(about 7 years ago). We have approximately 200 users. It is very affordable and has many bolt on's based on what you need. The developer of Track It is Numara Software now http://www.numarasoftware.com/default.asp
We use Liberum Helpdesk it is free open source software the has a good support forum.
