J2ME: How to disable buttons

I want to disable all the buttons except the power off and power on in Motorola i870 phones. Is there any way I can do that???

    *Extremely doubtful* ~ you may disable buttons in your own application, but you are talking about OS level control. They'd have to provide that through the API. Scan the javadocs, that's what you are permitted to do.
