From FrontPage, I'm opening "File" then "Open Site", and type in my site: http://whatever.com.
It says "The Web server at ... does not appear to have Windows SharePoint Services installed.

This website has nothing to do with Sharepoint.  I just want to open it and edit it.
It does have FrontPage Extensions installed.

Thanks for any ideas,

A simple IIS-Reset seemed to fix this issue.
