error while updating rules in exchange 2003

Hi All,

getting a problem in exchange 2003 that every time when i create a new rule for incoming email to be moved to certain folder, the message appears as following

"one or more rules could not be uploaded to exchange server and have been deactivted. this could be because some of the parameters are not supported or there is insufficient space to store all your rules"

now i know there is alot of space on the server no doubt about it.

addtionally, my older rules are working without any problems what so ever.

There is a limit of space for rules on any mailbox on Microsoft Exchange server. and its 32 KB per mailbox.
If your existing rules are more than 32K, you wont be able to create more rules. Its not related to the disk space available on your Exchange server.

Thanks,
Amit Aggarwal.
