Is all the networking hardware, such as switches & routers, connected, powered on and working correctly?  Have you checked all connections?

"Default gateway test . . . : Failed

The router with the 10.250.1.1 interface is down. Perhaps just that interface is down, but it isn't accepting connections. You should check this device out and see what the problem is (might just need a restart, or maybe it got unplugged (like simonlimb said)).

Can you ping any other hosts on that are in your IP subnet (10.250.1.0/24)?

If not then I would double check the network connections from the DC to the hub/switch.

Although it is possible that the router (10.250.1.1) maybe down (as jar3817 states) I would assume that if this is your default router for that subnet, that you be having a LOT of other problems.

Point your DNS server to the correct local IP address. All machines will resolve 127.0.0.1 to their own NIC's.

i.e. they will never find the DNS server, unless it is running locally.

Check that all of your services have started correctly.

The reason for Systemlog failing is because there are errors reported in your System Log, in Event Viewer
