pushing software to workstations in an Active Directory Domain

Is it possible to install a particular piece of software on all the workstations on a network if they're in an Active Directory domain?

How do i do that?

    you can use several thechnic for this :
    install software with GPO ,it's good for small programs,update etc...
    install with SMS server, if have one .
    microsoft update server, good for OS updates.

    if you have only active directory you can use GPO with script to push
    and update programs
