What could be the reason ?

Please Help.

Do you see any event IDs in Application log or System logs exactly before it restarts?
What service packs you have on Exchange server 2003?
What is the version of store.exe on Exchange server 2003?
Has this problem started after un-installing Sp1 for Windows Server 2003?

Thanks,
Amit Aggarwal.

Hi Amit,

I found the server shut down by NT AUTHORITY SYSTEM.

Is it because I uninstalled Windows 2003 SP1 ?

This problem stsrted after uninstalling Windows SP1.

Regards

Thilak

There should be some error message in System logs just before the system was restarted. Please copy the complete error message here. It might be b'coz of some memory exception in some dll and we will have to apply an update.

Did you check the version of store.exe on your server?

Thanks,
Amit Aggarwal

Do you see Event ID - 1000 in System logs or Event ID - 7034 in Application logs?
