ISA placement

Hi,

I have and ISA machine on my dmz network that will act as a webproxy for my OWA.
Its a single (unihomed ) nic machine. My question is will it be enough to have the machine in a workgroup? I have openend http and https between my lan and dmz.

I have some problems with the connection, sometimes it works sometimes it doesnt...

Any tips?

Martin.

1. Only being on a workgroup is fine.
2. Only one NIC? No problem apart from you are limited on the services you can publish but web is fine.
3. ISA does not mess in this way. If it works, it works, when its wrong, its always wrong.

What do you do to start it working again, anything?
Open the GUI,
click on monitoring - logging.
click on start query.
Watch the log; any issues seen when access fails?
