swf's in firefox only seem to play when at least one
instance of embeded flash player is currently visible on screen.
eg: if swf plays music and user scrolls down, music stops !

is there a workaround ? eg, extra embed parameters, some magic actionscript function ?
i tried wmode=Window but didn't work

I've tried to make a swf with sound and make a long page and viewed it in FireFox , when scrlling down I still can hear the sound, even i went to another applications and the sound still playing ..

Please make sure that you have the latest versions of both flash and fire fox
the test i made were done with flash 8 and fireFox 1.0.7

and the code of the flash is:

music= new Sound()
