Adding Colour to the current cell

I've made a very "busy" spreadsheet in which data is entered. Is there a way to add colour to the current cell so when the mouse clicks on it, the cell changes colour - when the data is entered, the cell will revert back to normal?

How 'bout highlight the current row/colmn as the cursor moves around the sheet. I use the code from the link below in several of my spreadsheets.
