How do I reinstall si3112r.sys driver?
I have been experiencing lots of blue screens of death, with si3112r.sys driver implicated. I am able to boot up in safe mode, but in normal mode there is the BSOD before I get chance to change anything. Now, I was advised that the problem was with the driver, and it should be replaced. In device manager, if I try to reinstall the driver I get the message that the existing driver is ok, and I cant work out what to do. Do I uninstall the driver first?. I tried renaming the existing (corrupt?) driver xxxxxx.old and copied the driver over from a floppy, but the result was my machine wouldnt boot up at all in either safe mode or normal. Can someone please advise me what to do. Thanx. N.
