Go to NSLOOKUP at http://www.nslookup.com

Enter the domain name under WHOIS  (i.e. thisdomain.com)

That will return all the registration information about the website.

Get free NFR key for Veeam Availability Suite 9.5

Veeam is happy to provide a free NFR license (1 year, 2 sockets) to all certified IT Pros. The license allows for the non-production use of Veeam Availability Suite v9.5 in your home lab, without any feature limitations. It works for both VMware and Hyper-V environments

Definatly do a whois on the website? allthough this information may only be who owns the website but no who is hosting it? maybe send the people who own the website an email?

http://news.netcraft.com/ will sometimes tell the name of the company.  I usually do a whois - or get the IP address of the web site and then see who owns that IP address.  That will help in some instances.  I also use http://www.webhosting.info/ and whois.domaintools.com as well sometimes

a whois will also specify who owns the website and contact details!

http://whois.webhosting.info/
^^
Gives you hosting company details and reverse ip lookup to show you all domains (.com, .net, .org) that are hosted on their servers...
