COMDLG32.OCX in Windows 2003 Server

I have upgraded a windows 2000 server to Windows 2003.
One of the programs that is used regularly is a VB6 application which now crashes when it tries to run, giving the error message:
Component 'COMDLG32.OCX' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid

I have searched the OS and this ocx does not appear anywhere on the hard-disk.
Can I simply copy this ocx to the Windows system32 folder and run regsvr32? and will this affect any other software on the machine?
