I had itunes working on this machine before and had removed it for some reason. I could not install the itunes today and it kept giving me some sort of exception error. I called my IT person who remotely tried to uninstall some security updates from the machine thinking this may be the problem.
Right now I can not even boot up completely. Initially the screen comes up with a message Windows Server 2003 Standard edition ---- Preparing network connections ...then after a few minutes I get the message --- STEMRCV.exe _the exception unknown software exception (0xc06d007e) occurred in the application at location 0x77e649d3.
The options available are OK or Cancel. By selection either option the message changes to --- STEMSND.exe _the exception unknown software exception (0xc06d007e) occurred in the application at location 0x77e649d3
Next messgae is - Service Control Manager _ At least one service or driver failed during system startup. Use event viewer to examine the event log for details.
Then the sa,e messages keep repeating when the OK or cancel key is pressed and I can not boot up.
