I have a wireless router that has 4 wired LAN ports.  I have 2 computers connected to the router. One "wired", the other "wireless". Both computers are running Windows 2000 Professional. The wired computer is assigned IP address 192.168.1.100.  The wireless computer is assigned IP address 192.168.1.101.  I have connected a DSL modem to the WAN port of the router, and can access the Internet from both 192.168.1.100 and 192.168.1.101.

I want to be able to access the wired computer from the wireless computer.  I try pinging 192.168.1.100 from 192.168.1.101 but it times out.  How can I set things up so that I can ping 192.168.1.100 from 192.168.1.101?  Thank you.

Hi glentek,

do you have any firewalls enabled on either machine?
