If any of the Documents has Readers fields and it doesn't have '*' , that means those documents are restricted to authorized persons.

And also, make sure you have given a Proper view name. Embed the view and preview in the borwser.

For readers field checking, go to Notes Client and select a document and check document properties. In that look for a readers field and it should have the list of names or empty.
Try to give Anonymous No access in the ACL, and then login with a id on web, then let us know whther ur able to see docs or not.

No, that is not possible. If you are having Notes Login Name and Password, then only you can login to Notes Client. Ofcourse, you must have a valid Notes User id file.

Hmmm .... I thought it is already on Domino Server.
From local, it should be in this format:
http://localhost/dbpath.nsf/viewname?openview

and you can try to keep the db on a Domino Server and test.
Best of Luck.
