Creation of rasterizer port failed
Hello all. I have a user who's trying to create a TIFF file from PDF and is getting this error:
Acrobat could not save a page in this document because of the following error: Creation of rasterizer port failed (page 1).
I've ran a repair and the cleaner on his machine and we're still getting this. I've had him try with different files as well. Can someone tell me how to fix this?
Thanks, Jordan

Yes, it's been reinstalled. Version 7.0.7. It is the latest.
I've never seen this error message, and I don't know anything about it.
How much memory does the computer have? Can the user create TIFF files with lower resolutions? Are you trying to create color or BW files? Does one work, but not the other?

The machine has 512 MB of memory. The user was trying with BW. None of the files will work. I guess my only option will to be a reinstall. Is that what you would suggest?
There is certainly something wrong with that installation, or that machine. If Detect&Repair did not work, I would go for a reinstall. U
Do you have any other Adobe software installed on that machine?

No other Adobe is installed. I'll do a reinstall and let you know if that worked.

Did a reinstall and still get the same error.

The CADD guys told me it's a plug in problem that they've seen before. They're going to take care of it. Thanks so much for the help Khkremer ! :^)
Did you try to reinstall Acrobat? Which version are you running? Is it the latest patch level?
