Old copy of Visual C++ 6.0
Can anybody suggest a place, besides eBay and emsps.com, where I can find an old copy of this compiler. Stupid me, I threw one away weeks ago while going through my old stuff, never expecting to need such old stuff ever again. Then, suddenly, it's what I need most. Go figure...
So it would be great if someone knows a place where I could look.
Thanks,
Bob

thought you could use the cl.exe to compile from the commandline but further reading reveals this is not the case
for the standard version think you need to buy at least a second hand copy from a website for a good price or look around on sites like this
http://www.cs-software.com/software/microsoft/msv_order.html#VCs
i don't know them but after looking around seems Microsoft aint selling it anymore and big supliers like amazon are not listing it either

Hmm, finally got through their (discount-licensing) site, and looks more like a mass-license type of thing, sorry!

I am trying to load an old project, but when VS 2003 upgrades it, something's getting mangled.
