Outlook is taking messages from Exchange Inbox.

Hi All,

I am having a very annoying problem with outlook and exchange.
Ill explain it as best as I can.

1:  I have two pc's that were connected to exchange.  I had to reinstall office on pc 1.  When I reinstalled I am getting the follwing issue.

All my mails are coming into my personell folder inbox on pc 1.  Not exchange inbox.  So on PC2 you cant see any mails in the inbox.  If I copy the mails from personel folder inbox to pc 1 to inbox for exchange they copy BUT they start disapearingone by one. Its as if they are being sent or deleted etc.

So my exchange inbox is always empty? and the inbox on my personell folder on Pc1 contains all the new mails.
Strange I guess

Hope im making somne sense,
Regards
Stephen

forgot to mention: that procedure should be done on PC1
Thanks for quick response.

I tried chaging that as you mentioned, I copied the mails back into inbox but as soon as I do so that start dissapearing from it one by one?

Is it only going to work from now on or so?
Thanks
Stephen
Is outlook on PC1 set up as a POP3 connection instead of an Exchange connection?  Do you have any other computers set to download mail from this mailbox?
no its actually not set up as pop,
only two pc's access the mails.
Seems strange to say the least.

Is there any other conflict that could cause this issue?
Thanks
Stephen
