ppttpwiz.msi not found when opening powerpoint office 2003

i get the following message when i start powerpoint in office 2003 ...

"the feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable."
C:\Documents and Settings\bt\application data\temp\IX~\

it appears to be looking for ppttpwiz.msi

any thoughts?

Hi briancostea,

you could try this
source: http://groups.google.com/group/microsoft.public.powerpoint/msg/7feaeff595a0ea18?hl=en&

you can get it from

1. run the ppttpwiz.exe with the /c /t:c:\pttemp\ option
2. the ppttpwiz.msi is created in the pttemp directory
3. subsequently remove this program from your system
