The difference between MVC 1 AND MVC 2 IS AS FOLOOWS
In MVC 1 WE DID NOT HAVE A CONTROLLER/DELEGATING SERVLET TO PROCESS EACH REQUEST COMING FROM THE CLIENT.
INSTEAD THE JSP (VIEW) COULD DIRCTLY TALK TO THE BEAN (MODEL).

MVC2 is primarily based on struts framework where each request is processed by a controller servlet and delegated to the appropriate action class. There is only one action servlet to delegate request.
request from jsp will go through the servlet and then to the appropraite action class.

MVC2 is much organised as it improves performance compared to MVC1
