2003 server not listing printers in AD or PC's in DNS

We're running Server2003 with 9 workstations running XP pro. The server is set as a domain controller, dns server, iis server, print server & exchange server. None of our shared printers are showing up in AD. (Yes the box is checked to ist in AD.) Also, the PCs are not listing in DNS. (The PC's are recieving IPs from a Linksys VPN router.) Our internet connection is also very slow, except for 1 pc! It has me stumped! Any suggestions? Thanks!

1 Solution
The basic dns setup should be all workstations pointing at your dns server dc as primary dns in tcp/ip. Your DC should also be pointing at itself only. DHCP should be disabled on the router and run from the DC instead. Forwarders should be configured on your dc dns to point at your isp's nameservers for external dns resolution. Your router address is then just the default gateway for all workstations/servers.
