Hello -

At work I have an excel spreadsheet of all of our vendors (we are a distributor).  I put notes on it, and search for product when need be based on my notes.  I also have hyperlinks to each manufacturer's web site.  Is there any way I can search the content of the websites the links go to?

Simply put .. no. Their web application is a seperate entity from the spreadsheet so there is no way it can communicate with it.

What about if I converted the spreadsheet to an HTML document?

Still no, at best you would be able to search the content on YOUR page but not external websites.
