you may have the newer CDO on your localhost whereas the hosting server has the older CDONTS

you can get cdonts.dll from other servers (in windows/system32 folder)

and manually you can register it

aslo you can use CDO

     Dim objCDOConf,objCDOSYS
     Set objCDOSYS = Server.CreateObject("CDO.Message")
     With objCDOSYS
          .From = "from@myemail.com"
          .To = "me@mymail.com"
          .Subject = "Subject comes here"
          '.HTMLBody = strMailBody
          .TextBody = "Test message"
          .Send
     End with
     Set objCDOSYS = Nothing
