I have a field in my database that holds RTF formatted data and the field type is OLE Object. I would like to read out the RTF Data and convert it to a string without the RTF formatting to be displayed in a text control in VB 6. This is with Access97.
Thank you

You could use a RichTextBox control instead.  It has a property called TextRTF that lets you set RTF data directly, and it will display plain text.
