Obtain List Network Users Desktop Shortcuts And Mapped Drives

I need to obtain a listing of each network users  shortcuts like you would find by navigating to C:\Documents and Settings\UserName\Desktop
and a list of their mapped drives like you would see by navigating to My Computer and viewing the network drives section.  I would like the results to include:  user name,  and the properties of the short cut  for the first list and user name and the network drives for the second list.  I have experimented with LDAP queries but w/o success.

There are tons of VBScripts that will do this for you... you'll find them listed here:
http://vbnet.mvps.org/index.html?code/network/index.html

There are specific ones that will Enumerate Mapped Drives of workstations, and others that will provide most any other kind of info you need.

Also, you might find that Sysinternal's PSTools suite will do what you want as well:

hi, i am using pstools for this, and my command does not work.

psexec @computers.txt -u DOMAIN\user net use > c:\results.txt

any ideas why i keep getting this message:

Password: New connections will be remembered.
There are no entries in the list.
New connections will be remembered.

and it only shows my local connections.

If you are logged into a computer as a member of the domain admin's group you do not need to use the -u switch.  However, if you do use the -u switch you need to also need to supply a password with the -p switch.  Both of these fields can also be specified in your computers.txt file.
