Automatically delete Calendar appts. after they've occurred?

I have a user whose calendar appointments are disappearing after the appointment has passed.

For example, if she creates a 2 hour appointment for Friday at 3pm, then on Friday at 5pm, the appointment disappears.

Is there some setting that is causing this to happen? She is using Outlook (not sure which version - 200x) on Windows XP SP2 on a local machine (no server).

    Hello hightechgeek,
I am guessing she has turned on a funny view that only lets her see active appointments. Go to the view menu and choose view, current view, define views. At this point, simplest is to click to RESET each view to the default, one by one. They should reappear now

Thanks for the tip, but that did not resolve the issue.

I would like to keep this question open, as the issue has not been resolved.

I am sorry that I did not respond to kfalandays suggestion in a timely manner. I now realize that this was, in effect, abandoning the question. Please delete the question with no refund of points. I will ask the question again with more detail when I am back in the country and with this user again.
