Remove Domain\Username and /exchange at end of company OWA URL

How do I remove the /exchange at the end of our company url for Web mail (http://webmail.domain.com).  I also want to remove the domain\username at the authentication page that pops up.  I want my users to only have to enter username and P/W to access Web Mail.

Would help if you posted the version of Exchange.

To loose the /exchange, change the IIS configuration as outlined on this page:
http://www.amset.info/exchange/owa-defaultpage.asp

To loose the requirement for the domain\ either set the default domain and default realm on the /exchange virtual directory in IIS, or if Exchange 2003 SP2 enable forms based authentication and use an SSL certificate. There was an undocumented change in the service pack that removed the requirement for the domain.

Simon.
