System Cannot Log On Because Domain Server01 Cannot Be Found.

simple server-client setup
server , computer name is SERVER01 : windows 2003 server enterprise
client computer name is CLIENT01 : windows 2003

i made 5 , 6 users with different names in active directory on server computer and frm client machine after joinin it to domain it was workin fine but suddenly when i tried to log on even with all users it started giving this message
"System cannot log on because domain SERVER01 cannot be found."

I checked the Event Viewer on my Server01 and i found this message

"The session setup from the computer CLIENT01 failed to authenticate. The name(s) of the account(s) referenced in the security database is CLIENT01$. The following error occurred:
Access is denied. "

i dont have any special policy settings on server ad , then i disconnected client from the domain and rejoined to domain from local admin access on client still no use.......there is perfect connectivity between server and client and yea one more thing i made a user abcd and selected option user must change password at next logon and when i tried loggin on from client with this user abcd it did asked me to change password but again after changing psswrd succsefully but again the same message later on

any solution to this , i didnt study anythin today wasted full day to resolve it but no use  ???

Remove client01 from the domain and re-add it.  (Delete the client account in active directory before readding it).

do you have any more clients in the domain ?
does the problem occur on all the clients?
how about admins are they able to login to the domain ?
does the problem occur on the DC.
create a test account and add the user to logon locally on the Dc, check whether the user can login locally to the DC.

these would let us know whether there is a problem with the DC.
