Urgent word problem Citrix 500 points

Cleint reported this problem

Runing PS4 on windows 2000 server Office 2003

have a problem with MS Word running under Citrix.  AutoRecovery throws up an info dialog box which states that:

‘You cannot save while the file is in use by another user.  Try saving the file with a new name. (N:\...\AutoRecovery save of GF-UK-301…)’.

When I OK out of it, another dialog box appears ‘Saving the AutoRecovery file is postponed for “GF-UK-3010.2…doc”.

I don’t see any N: drive on Citrix.

Any help would be much appreciated,

I would go into word and try to set autorecovery to use the individual users directory to their "home directory".  It sounds like multiple users are tripping over a temp file used by Autorecovery.

Method 1: Word 2003, Word 2002, Word 2000, Word 97, and Word 7.x
1.      On the Tools menu, click Options, and then click the File Locations tab.
2.      In the File Types box, click AutoRecover Files (AutoSave in Word 7.x).
3.      Click Modify.
4.      Enter the name of the folder in which you want Word to store recovered documents.
5.      If a new folder location is needed, click Create New Folder, type the new folder name, click OK, and click OK to exit.

I don't know if you can sneak an environment variable into the location or not, like %temp%  uses the current users temporary file space when you put it in for "working directory" of an applications icon (right click on the icon)...
