I have a new exchange 2003 server in a mixed 5.5 - 2003 orginization.  A user has dragged some calendars out of public folders and put it in her "tasks" in her own mailbox.  My problem is, she doesn't have the rights to put it back.  Now she is the only one who can see em.  I am new to exchange 2003 and i don't want to get myself in a bigger mess by experimenting with rights.

You will need to change the client permissions on the public folder so that this user can create content.
You can do this either through Outlook or ESM.

If you are doing it through ESM, then it is CLIENT PERMISSIONS that you need to change, not Security or anything else.
