I have a vb app that I just loaded onto a 2000 machine.

the code has worked for a long time on xp and other machines.

I have a line that sets the index of a listbox to 0, for some reason, I am getting

Invalid property value.

I even have vb6 loaded and am doing it thought the debugger.

Help please, this is urgent

    Accepted Solution

    1) Did you run an install that you created on an XP machine?

    2) What service pack level do you have installed?

    Also you cannot set the index of a control becuase it is set when the listbox array is created.

    Do you mean listindex?

    lstInstSetups is a listbox

    this code works on any pc I have ever used, when I tried it on 2000, it didn't

            lstInstSetups.ListIndex = 0

    I guess it doesn't matter, I am going to change to xp, this isn't worth it.

    Thanks though
