I try to find out if a font is vector and use API function gettextmetrics with condition tmpf_vector, but the result is true even with truetype fonts. What is the problem?

    Accepted Solution

    Yes, this flag will be set on with true-type fonts.

    <api help>
        ...besides having their own bits set, TrueType and PostScript fonts set the TMPF_VECTOR bit.
    <end help>

    What you will need to do is check to ensure the TMPF_TRUETYPE (and possiblye TMPF_DEVICE) flags are clear (off).
