Active Directory User and Computers

In ADUC, we have duplicate entries under the default computers folder.  Usually there is only one BEServer folder listed, but lately there has been another that is similar but with extra SID number attached to the name.  Is it safe to delete these?  We also have duplicates in the System folder\MicrosoftDNS folder.  I imagine that these are being cause by replication.

Please help?!?!?

BEServer is a folder created by Backup Exec on install.

Have you recently crashed BE and had to reinstall it? That might cause the second one to appear.

I wouldn't bother deleting them, they're no harm to anyone...
If the SID is attached to the name of an object in AD, this is due to a replication conflict.  As long as everytrhing is working correctly you SHOULD be ok to delete the objects with the SID apended to the name.  I ahev performed this a couple of times to clean up my AD and not had any issues.
