Great thank you, that worked. &nbsp;I was trying clock rate which wasn't working but didn't notice the service-module command. &nbsp;I got it to work with both HDLC and PPP. &nbsp;Thanks again!

I picked up two Cisco 2610 routers to start practicing my CCNP. &nbsp;Instead of going with the DB60 serial cards and cables I went with the WIC-1DSU-T1 interface cards. &nbsp;I need to connect both these interfaces together to act as a serial interface for the labs.<br />
<br />
Now I think I figured out the cable problem. &nbsp;I made a T1 crossover and the CD LED is now green on both interfaces. &nbsp;The only problem I have now is that both the interface and line protocol are down, even with the no shutdown command entered. &nbsp;<br />

Connecting 2 T1 DSU WIC's

A router is a networking device that forwards data packets between computer networks. Routers perform the "traffic directing" functions on the Internet.
