Hi quannv,

you need to build a COM Addin this sample describes how
source: http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=302901

if you don't want to go through the framework itself and need something that adds speed in building Office addins look at VSTO from Microsoft or a third party tool like Add-in Express [cheaper] both tools create the framework for office add-ins so you don't have to build this yourself as in the KB article

share what you know, learn what you don't
If you are planning to widely distribute this add-in, you may also want to look into creating a shim for your com addin.  http://msdn.microsoft.com/office/default.aspx?pull=/library/en-us/dno2k3ta/html/ODC_Office_COM_Shim_Wizards.asp#odc_office_com_shim_wizards_introduction

Another consideration is what office versions you are going to support. VSTO will only work with Office 2003.

Thank you for your suggestion, I have another question.
In add-on application, I want to access my current opened document to read metadata likes contents, file path ...
For example, in Word's add-on application, How do I access my editing documents
