Trigger fire on commit

Hi folks

Is there any way to get a trigger to fire on commit instead of firing on every insert statement ?

I would like the INSERTED table to contain all the records affected by the (transaction on that table). My program saves a tree of records and then the trigger has to manipulate the tree in various ways, and to have the trigger fire once for every record in the tree when I only want it to act once for the tree seems a waste !

I suspect a no answer but just thought I'd ask. I will increase points if "appropriate"
