How do I get the default document path in Word ?

In Word options you can set the path of where the documents are saved by default (ie instead of my documents)

    Application.Options.DefaultFilePath = "c:\foo"

    I think you need a parameter:
    Application.Options.DefaultFilePath(wdDocumentsPath) = strPath
