Hi There,

Given a Microsoft Small Business Server 2003 incl. Exchange 2003.

Is there a way to tell Exchange to create copies of all incoming and outgoing mail into a specified mailbox or public folder? I am familiar with the user-based forward option, but I want to arrange this on a higher (non-user-based) level.

    Accepted Solution

    It is called journaling.

However - make sure that your HR people know what you are doing. It may be illegal to do it without notification of the staff in advance. In some areas and in some businesses you cannot do it because of the local law. Being asked to do so by the manager or owner of the company doesn't override local regulations.
