Use GPO to give users permissions on local folders

Just a quick one.

We've got a software installation that requires users to have full control of c:\appname

Is it possible to assign this right by GPO, or can I only do it by logging in to the workstation as the local administrator and setting folder permissions directly?  The folder name is the same on all workstations, and the folder was initially created on the workstation by the local administrator account.

Thanks

Hi SimonUK,

GPO doesnt offer that functionality my friend, you can write a script and fire it off remotely but GPO isnt that smart!
