Greetings dgscott,

I'm afraid this can't be done, unless you mean multiple email for one user

Good Luck!

ok maby i didnt explain it properly. ok... I have windows 2003 small business server with exchange installed. I have two computers on my network one desktop and one a laptop. What i want to do is that i want to set a user name up for my desktop computer and another user name for my laptop. But i want to be able to connnect to my isps email through the exchange so when mail comes through i can login to etheir user and access my emails. does this make any sence?

Where exchange is concerned, you can have a distribution list and add separate accounts to it. So an email sent to A will get to A1 and A2. However you cannot have exchange query and download your isp's emails. This you need to do from within outlook. If you configure outlook for exchange, the server email contents can be replicated on both pc's. Does your isp's email support pop only?

Can you check? Have you created two email accounts on your exchange, one for the pc and the other for the laptop?

i have setup an email account on the pc and not the laptop because when i try to use the same pop3 address it says on the exchange server that this address in use. Does this make any sence? Its hard to explane.

Ok, If you have one email account set up, lets say a@a.com, you cannot create another account like it. What you should do is create another pop account on the laptop with the same address and on the pc, outlook account properties, set outlook to leave a copy of the message on the server. That way when you download emails at the pc, the same email will be there for downloading on to the laptop later.

The issue with the above is that you will not have access to your replies that you had done on the pc when you access the laptop and vice versa.

In order for you to have access to all your emails, In, Sent and other folders - do not use or create pop accounts. Create the account as an exchange account. That way, when you login all your emails will be available to you.

If you really do need to have separate user accounts (email addresses) for 2-3 users, then you can create three pop email accounts on exchange and add these to a email distribution group. So that when an email is ent to the Distribution group address - it will get dispersed to the three accounts.

Is the above clear?
