comparing two arrays
Hi,
I have array1 and array2.
Array1 has various datevalues
Array2 also has date values which are subset of array1
I want to create Array3 which has the remainder of Array1 or those documents which exists in Array1 and don't exist in Array2.
Is this possible?

Now why wouldn't I talk to you? Nobody's done anything wrong, as far as I can see. I can understand that there is a time to get things done and another time to do things right. That's your choice, we only tried to guide you into the right direction. If you want to be a full-time professional software developer, then act like one. Make requirements, analyse your system, design it and code it yourself! I might have been too zealous, overloading you with structure. Nevertheless, I strongly feel that you need it.
Furthermore, I think it's not fair to try to make me feel guilty over your job that's on the line. You make it seem you have no other option than to obey. I learned (the hard way) that you always have more choices than you think. But you'd have to be completely honest with yourself. End of comment, because it's sliding off towards psychology, and that had better not be handled here.

A couple of things:
1. I am certainly going down the path of software development and I will succeed at it because for the next 12 months, this will be my food, drink and social life.
2. I don't have to always obey and actually at my last job, I became too comfortable to even listen to my boss. But this is a new position that I am in and fairly challenging, completely business oriented, so I have to perform according to their needs even though I have been there only for a few weeks.
The problem is I am loving the challenge so much, but I know that I don't have the complete knowledge for it and I am a bit stuck and working hard to learn what I can, yet still trying to perform according to their needs until I reach a comfortable point.
Can you understand now where I am coming from.
I do appreciate Marilyn's and your assistance and every line you guys wrote was taken into consideration, but again as I said, it seems hard to practice things when you have unfinished deliverable in 24 hours.
Anyway, enough of that, I may just post one more last question for tonight then go to bed, I have to wake up in 3 hours to go to work again.
I know that i have many other choices, but until I give what I am in now my best shot first!!

Actually, I have a specific question which I am going to post especially for you right now.
sjef, I hope you understand the spot that I am in at the moment. This thing will be completed by tomorrow, at least as a draft, but i have just ordered the book that you recommended.
Don't be too hard on me, trust me when I say, I am going to be on top of things as soon as this hurdle passes by.
