need HTML::Strip for Perl (windows xp/activeperl)

Hi, I need to install the HTML::Strip module on my new laptop. I downloaded the .zip file from CPAN but it needs to be built. So I got a copy of nmake, but it is having trouble locating a file called 'cl'. Does anyone know how to fix this? (or can give me the built version I can just copy into my perl directory).

Well if you have to compile it yourself you must have some compile available, just adding a make -utiltiy is not sufficient.
The file called cl is the command line C compiler from Microsoft. AFAIK there is a free edition available for download from someo the Microsoft Servers.

Why not use ppm?

C:\>ppm install HTML::Strip
Installing package 'HTML-Strip'...
Bytes transferred: 9374
Installing C:\Perl\site\lib\auto\HTML\Strip\Strip.bs
Installing C:\Perl\site\lib\auto\HTML\Strip\Strip.dll
Installing C:\Perl\site\lib\auto\HTML\Strip\Strip.exp
Installing C:\Perl\site\lib\auto\HTML\Strip\Strip.lib
Installing C:\Perl\html\site\lib\HTML\Strip.html
Files found in blib\arch: installing files in blib\lib into architecture dependent library tree
Installing C:\Perl\site\lib\HTML\Strip.pm
Writing C:\Perl\site\lib\auto\HTML\Strip\.packlist
